IMCW 20th Anniversary Celebration

Join us for an evening of food, fun and reflection

Please join the Insight Meditation Community of Washington (IMCW) for a special evening as we celebrate 20+ years of deepening our spiritual connections, providing service to our community, and awakening hearts and minds. We'll have a catered dinner with music, and hear a welcome by Tara Brach.


The evening will be an opportunity to reflect on the past 20 years, enjoy sangha (spiritual community), and contemplate our direction for the future. We will hear how IMCW has grown from a small group gathered around Tara Brach in the Fireside Room at the River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation (RRUUC) to a large and thriving community.

We will also hear from our teachers, sangha leaders, supporters and friends to commemorate this milestone achievement. As part of the program, we will showcase pre-recorded video from Dharma leaders across the country, including Joseph Goldstein, Ruth King, Jack Kornfield and more, that provide celebratory congratulations on the anniversary.

Tickets are free, but space is limited. Save your spot by registering now.The celebration will be held at the historic All Souls Church at 1500 Harvard St NW (at 16th Street), Washington, DC 20009.  Doors will open to pre-registered guests at 6:30 p.m. The program will begin at 7:15 p.m. Please note that a complementary vegetarian/vegan dinner will be served at this event. Commemorative keepsakes will also be distributed. We look forward to celebrating with you.
