Inward Bound Mindfulness Education (iBme), based in Floyd, VA, offers programming for teens and for adults in the DC/Virginia area. "We provide fun and age appropriate opportunities for young people to learn and practice mindfulness skills that enhance mental focus, strengthen inner-resilience, and develop social, emotional, and ecological intelligence."  Check out their summer retreats:

Summer Teen Retreat, July 10-15, Madison, VA

The overall intent of this retreat is to provide an intensive environment for young people ages 14-19 to experience mindfulness meditation, mindful movement, and community -- in an atmosphere of acceptance, support and kindness.

DC Self-Care Workshop, June 17th, Washington DC

iBme helps adult care givers and parents to examine the physical, emotional, and spiritual signs and symptoms that indicate their level of need of self-care. Through an integration of Mindfulness and Social Emotional approaches, we provide tools to help restore a sense of one’s inner peace, maintain balance, sustain vitality and to better know one’s own limits.
