IMCW Visioning Process Enters a New Phase September 29, 2019By Editor FutureVision Thanks so much to all of you who have lent your voice to articulating what IMCW can become, and to those of you who will do so in the near future. We would like to recognize and honor and are so grateful for the 20 Visioning Team members who have put in so many hours conducting the focus group sessions and thank the teachers and others who so graciously hosted these groups. A deep bow of gratitude to all who have participated in so many ways! IMCW has been engaging in a deep visioning process (read more here) with the intention of discovering how our community might grow and change over the next five to ten years to support the aspiration of collective awakening. The IMCW Visioning Team has now conducted over 28 focus groups with more than 113 participants -- and will be conducting several more -- associated with IMCW’s many classes, activities, groups, affinity sanghas, and other offerings and communities, so that we can hear from as many members of the community as possible. We will soon enter our next phase of the Visioning Process, forming a team to mine the rich depth of information gathered in the focus groups to develop overall themes for IMCW’s future. Also, be on the lookout for an IMCW community-wide survey in the fall. This will be an opportunity for everyone, especially those of you who have not yet been able to participate, to have your vision heard. Stay tuned!
