For 5-12 year olds. This class meets the 2nd Sunday of each month. It does not meet in July and August.
The Family Class provides children and their caregivers with a Buddhist framework to explore their inner life, deepen their resilience, develop tools to respond skillfully to life's ever-changing canvas, and to realize one's innate capacity for kindness and compassion.
Parents attend the classes with their children. This is a drop-in class; no registration is required. This class does not require a fee, but you will have an opportunity to offer dana.

The IMCW Family Program aspires to bring alive the mindfulness toolkit for families in engaging and practical ways via our classes, daylongs, & retreats. Grandparents, parents, and children age 5-12 interested in cultivating greater compassion, presence, and resilience in everyday life are encouraged to participate. Founded in 2000, our program is run by families, for families. As families are the soil in which the future is planted. we are passionate about what we do.
