Women's Community Mindfulness Class
The aspiration of the Women's Community Mindfulness Class (WCMC) is to create a safe space where women can practice mindfulness for the development of wisdom and compassion.
We provide both guided meditation and independent practice time followed by a talk, with time for questions and comments. Beginning and experienced meditators are welcome. Chairs and cushions are provided. No registration is necessary.
Start time: 10 a.m.
Two 20-minute sits with a short, 3-minute stretch
Followed by a dharma (teaching) talk, comments and questions
End time 11:30 a.m.
Feel free to join at any point in the schedule.
We meet in the main sanctuary unless a sign is posted otherwise.
The suggested donation $10. We ask that you make a donation as there are expenses. Any amount that you can offer is greatly appreciated.
Newcomers to meditation and long time practitioners are welcome to attend IMCW classes. Chairs are always provided or you may bring your sitting gear.
