Due to the spring vacation schedule, this class has been moved to March 7.

Topic:  Gratitude and Generosity: The Transforming Power of Goodness

This class usually meets the second Wednesday of each month. It includes a 30-minute guided meditation, followed by a 30-minute talk and Q&A exploring the benefits of meditation practice for those involved in the legal profession.

All are welcome. No meditation experience necessary. Come to any or all sessions.

The class meets in the chapel in McDonough Hall at the Georgetown University Law Center. The entrance is at 600 New Jersey Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20001, an approximately 10-minute walk from either the Union Station or Judiciary Square metro stops. Limited on-street parking is available. Limited on-street parking is available.  

Insight meditation cultivates our natural wisdom and compassion. Meditation practice develops concentration, which allows us to calm and steady the mind.

No registration is necessary.

Newcomers to meditation and long time practitioners are welcome to attend IMCW classes. Chairs are always provided or you may bring your sitting gear.
