The Four Noble Truths of the Buddha are a simple yet profound guide to moving beyond suffering and stress and into greater freedom, spontaneity, and love. Through dharma talks, group meetings with the teacher, meditation instruction, gentle qigong practices, and personal meditation, you will be guided to practice cultivating direct experiences of the Four Noble Truths at this silent retreat.
The retreat center is nestled in many acres of wooded land in a secluded area of Montgomery County, MD. The property includes a number of trails, a lake, and a labyrinth.
The retreat size is limited to 36 participants to foster an intimate experience.
All meals are vegetarian starting with dinner on Friday and ending with dinner on Sunday. If you have special dietary needs (e.g. gluten-free, vegan), please include this in your registration notes.
All rooms are double-occupancy. A tent camping option is available as well. If you have special room needs, please contact the retreat managers.
This venue is accessible for those with mobility impairments, with some limitations. Please contact the retreat manager for more information.
Please find more information about retreats in our Resource section/Residential Retreat Information.
