Insight meditation cultivates our natural wisdom and compassion. Meditation practice develops concentration, which allows us to calm and steady the mind. This class in Bethesda, MD (Montgomery County) includes 1/2 hour of Vipassana meditation instruction and guided meditation followed by an hour-long dharma talk. This is a large gathering of approximately 250-300 people.
No registration is necessary.
ASL (American Sign Language) will be offered at this class on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from April-September 2017, except in May, when it will be on May 17, and in June when it will be held on June 21.
If you plan on attending an interpreted classes on Wednesday, please contact the class coordinator, Glen Harrison, so that he can save you a seat near the interpreter.
