The YLMx program is for graduates of the Year of Living Mindfully (YLM) program, taught by Jonathan Foust. YLMx is an all-volunteer group that aims to connect with as many YLM graduates as possible to strengthen our face-to-face and virtual sangha. We communicate as broadly as possible while maintaining your privacy.
Our intention is to provide a forum for all YLM graduates to come together and continue to explore shared interest in the dharma. At this time, our exploration together includes:
Please contact YLMx if you are a YLMx graduate and to learn more about the YLMx sangha, activities and ways to participate (both face-to-face and virtually).
YLMx has a monthly evening meeting, currently held at the Center for Mindful Living, and quarterly daylongs. Contact YLMx to receive more information and meeting specifics. Also check the IMCW calendar (use the YLMx category as your filter)--we will be putting up events soon. If you are interested in volunteering for future events, please email Heidi Schettenberg.

The IMCW Spiritual Friends (Pali: “Kalyana Mitta”) program offers you an opportunity to meet with local, peer-led small groups who share an interest in meditation and the Buddhist path. SF groups consist of six to twelve meditation students who are committed to supporting one another as they explore the practice of the dharma in their daily lives. Because these groups are small and meet regularly over an extended period of time, they allow for intimacy and sharing, discussion of how to keep the practice alive in daily life, and an experience of the heart of the dharma. More general information on KM/SF groups can be found on the Spiritual Friends webpage.
