Dharma Talk: The Power of Attention: Cultivating Compassionate Awareness
Attention has been called ‘psychic energy’ that helps us move towards what we want and care about. Much of the time, however, our attention is hijacked by unhealthy habits of mind and behavior, and by the tempting bells and whistles of our culture. Cultivating attention with kindness and for wholesome ends is a skill that can be trained and is key to our well-being and freedom.
