The retreat center is committed to using green technology, and most of its excellent organic cuisine is made from fresh, local produce. Guests can enjoy meals in the museum’s stately dining room, airy sunroom, or long outdoor porch – all of which look out onto the grounds. Vegan, dairy-free and gluten-free options are available upon request.
During our retreat, we’ll be using a sunny, peaceful, air-conditioned meditation hall inside the center, along with the open, expansive Octagon building, once frequently used by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hahn. This special sanctuary makes listening to sounds of the surrounding natural beauty vivid, and deeply calming.
The barn’s comfortable, unique rooms include towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets for guests.
