Insight meditation trains us to live more fully in the present moment, enables us to experience life from a greater stillness, and aids us in relating to both ourselves and others with increased clarity, compassion, calmness and creativity.

This class consists of guided meditation, a dharma talk, opportunities for practice, mindful movement, and discussion. See the schedule below of who will be teaching on each day.

Both newcomers to meditation and long-time practitioners are welcome.

Venue

This venue is accessible to those with mobility impairments. 

Chairs and zafus (floor cushions) are provided or you may bring your own sitting gear.

Parking

There is plenty of on-site parking.

Conveniently located in Mt. Washington, Maryland at the Lake Falls Village Center.We are at the corner of Lake Avenue and Falls Rd in the back of the Lake Falls Village Shopping. BYV is past the Whole Foods Market, left into Lake Falls Village. Baltimore Yoga Village is around the back near Al Pacino Pizza & Sushi Hana restaurant.

These teachings are given freely, with the opportunity to offer voluntary donations, or dana to support the teacher and class expenses. A donation (dana) of $10-15 is suggested for IMCW classes, but all are welcome, regardless of their ability to pay.
