Opening to Life’s 10,000 Joys and Sorrows

Friday, October 2-Sunday, October 4

Equanimity is at the core of our practice of mindfulness—meeting our experience with acceptance and saying "yes" to what is. Equanimity is also a key element of the Buddhist "heart practices", known as the Brahma Viharas or "divine abodes"—loving-kindness, compassion, appreciative joy, and equanimity—and one of the seven factors of awakening.

In this retreat we will delve into teachings and practices that cultivate and deepen equanimity to experience peace even in the most challenging times.
