IMCW Giving
First Saturdays, monthly.
This sangha (community) is for military and veterans of any branch and component and those currently serving on active duty.
This group offers an opportunity and community for military and veterans who wish to meet and relate to other veterans. Time will be used to talk about and practice how meditation and mindfulness practices can be used to help us relate to the world around us in more skillful ways.
Transitioning and relating to civilian life can be difficult. People working with anxiety and trauma have reported relief through these practices. Meditation can lead to reduced stress; improve ability to cope with difficult emotions and situations, and greater happiness.
Realizing there is a wide variety of military experiences and readiness to connect; your participation can be very useful to meet different needs as they are identified. Share your experience, strength, and hope and or just show up.
No registration is necessary and newcomers are always welcome.
