Aligning with What is Most Important: Silent Weekend Online Retreat

Friday, January 15-Sunday, January 17

The turning of the year, and the darkness and cold of winter invite us to reflect on what is truly most important and fundamental. It is easy to get lost in the daily doings of our lives and forget the deeper yearnings that call us. When we reacquaint ourselves with our deepest aspirations, we start aligning our daily lives more fully for the purpose of moving in the direction of what is most important. There is power and profundity in this realignment of our lives.

In this retreat, we will focus on discerning our deepest aspirations and desires. We will also reflect on how to live our lives more intentionally. There will be a mix of dharma talks, guided and unguided meditation, guided and unguided movement, and group meetings with the teacher throughout the retreat.

Note: Because this is an online retreat, participants are encouraged to find space of relative quiet, limiting the amount of interaction with others in the environment as much as possible. Participants may join by internet or via phone. Participants will be given links to join the course the week before the course begins.

Participants will be given the Zoom link in the registration confirmation email.

Training in using the Zoom video format will be made available for those who need it the week before the retreat begins.

The registration fee only supports administrative expenses. None of these funds are offered to the teachers and managers of the retreat. At the end of the retreat, participants will be given the opportunity to offer dana (donation, generosity) to the teachers and managers for the time and energy put into making the retreat happen. Dana is not required, and the amount is left to each participant to determine. More information about the dana process will be sent near the time of the retreat.
