Serie de 4 clases: Martes, Mayo 11 a Junio 1

Este curso nos ayudará a conocer qué es la meditación y cómo nos puede ayudar a cambiar nuestra relación con el estrés y nuestras emociones en la vida diaria.

El curso es una serie de cuatro sesiones de una hora y media, una vez a la semana. Cada sesión incluye práctica y presentación del tema, conexión con otras personas en el grupo y preguntas y respuestas. 

Es necesario inscribirse, y el costo es en base a una donación voluntaria por las 4 clases.

 

(This course will introduce to what meditation is and how it can help us change our relationship with stress and our daily life emotions. The course is a series of four sessions of one and a half hours, once a week. Each session includes practice and presentation of the topic, connection with other people in the group, and questions and answers.)

 

Session I:

¿Qué es Mindfulness?  / What is Mindfulness? 

Session II:

¿Cómo manejar el estrés y las emociones a través de la meditación? 

Session III:

 Prácticas de Autocuidado y Auto-Compasión / Self-care and Self-Compassion Practices 

Session IV:

¿Qué hemos aprendido y cómo seguimos practicando? What have we learned and how to continue practicing?

Note: Because this is an online retreat, participants are encouraged to find space of relative quiet, limiting the amount of interaction with others in the environment as much as possible. Participants may join by internet or via phone. 

Participants will be given the Zoom link in the registration confirmation email and again via email the week before the course begins.

Registration is required, and the cost is based on a voluntary donation for the 4 classes. No one would be turned away for lack of payment. If you can't offer a donation you can apply for a scholarship.

IMCW Refund Policy

If you cancel more than two weeks before the start of the event, your donation will be refunded minus a $10 administrative fee. IMCW cannot offer refunds for cancellations made fewer than 2 weeks before the beginning of the event. It may take 5-7 days for the refund to show in your account. 

Late Registration

Online registration will close at 12 a.m. the day before the retreat. To request late registration, please email the retreat manager to check if there are still openings.
