Nourish! 6-night silent mindfulness and self-compassion retreat for women
Friday, July 23-Thursday, July 29
The retreat will be held in Eastern Time Zone (New York – U.S.).
Soak up the nourishment! This retreat for gender-identified women is perfect for MSC graduates, graduates of MSC Core Skills training, as well as other mindfulness practitioners including MBSR grads who are familiar with lovingkindness and other compassion practices.
Daily schedule includes guided and silent sitting and walking meditation, mindful movement, sense and savor walks in nature, body scan, lovingkindness meditation, compassion practices, and teaching focused on applying self-compassion, especially finding the balance between giving and receiving. Individual and group inquiry sessions with teachers included.
The philosophy of mindful self-compassion will be woven throughout the retreat in both what we are doing and how we are working with the retreat experience including extensive practice with the inquiry, “What do I need right now?” Strengthen your ability to be present with yourself just as you are, with kindness and care with expert guidance by experienced retreat leaders and in a compassionate community of other women.
This retreat is an MMTCP qualifying online retreat. It may also fulfill the silent retreat requirement for professional training in MSC, MBSR, MBCT. Please check directly with your program.
This is a silent meditation retreat held in noble silence; it is not an interactive workshop.
