Since I was very young I have been fascinated by people's stories: specifically, I became interested in the human resiliency and strength to overcome obstacles. This passion brought me to study clinical psychology with a focus in social psychology and psychoanalysis.
For more than 17 years I have worked in the fields of individual and group psychotherapy, trauma and social justice informed services, curriculum developer, popular education, community organizing and consulting for non-profits and governmental agencies. I have a passion for supporting individuals, couples and families to live more mindfully and authentically.
My life experiences and training have provided me a holistic foundation, where I integrate mind, body and soul practices to support you in your own healing, transformation and liberation process.
I bring empathy, compassion, an open mind, and the deep belief that my clients are whole, creative, and capable of creating the life they want and need as they are the experts of their own life.
I am a member of The International Coach Federation and am currently pursuing my Professional Coaching Certification through the Institute for Life Coaching Training. I enjoy learning and practicing mindfulness meditation , dancing salsa, hot yoga, reading, playing tennis and traveling. I share this life journey walking side by side and learning with and from my wonderful husband and daughter. I am deeply grateful for our extended families and our ancestors who paved the path for us to be here today.
