Ways to give
Generosity
Your generosity is essential for IMCW to continue sharing the dharma. There are a variety of ways to engage in this time-honored tradition of expressing gratitude for classes, teachers and community.
One-Time Donation
Whether participating in a drop-in class, sangha, or our annual fall campaign, our online dana basket is always available when you wish to express your gratitude for the teachings and community.
By giving what you can afford, you not only support our teachers, classes, and community but also make it possible for others to attend who cannot afford to give.
Sustainers Circle
There is a group of sangha members who generously donate monthly to IMCW to support our ongoing work. If you deeply appreciate what IMCW programs and teachers bring to your lives, please consider joining the Sustainers Circle. We won’t be sending you calendars, tote bags, or mugs, but you will have our enduring gratitude for the support you give to make IMCW possible. Join here.
Legacy Giving
When you are at the stage in life when you are crafting your Will and thinking about what bequests matter most, we hope you will consider including IMCW if the community has been an important part of cultivating your spiritual life.

Larry Yang BIPOC Fund
The Larry Yang Fund for Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) provides resources to BIPOC students and teachers as they seek to learn, teach and otherwise deepen their experience in the dharma. Our sincere belief is that, when barriers to full inclusion are eliminated, there is a natural shift in the balance of power that leads to a greater sense of community and collective transformation, for the benefit of all.
The fund was named for Larry Yang, a founding teacher at the East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, CA who’s been a guiding light for IMCW since (year) on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
It’s used to support BIPOC yogis attending IMCW and Non-IMCW events, daylongs, and retreats; IMCW BIPOC Teachers, Affiliate Teachers, and Sangha Leaders for teacher development training and teacher stipends for leading sanghas, classes, daylongs, and retreats, as well as BIPOC retreats (weekend or longer).
Reach out on our Contact page and check Scholarships to inquire about support from this fund.
Scholarship Fund
IMCW offers a limited number of scholarships and partial scholarships to IMCW events, daylongs, and retreats. Please make a donation to help in our efforts to make the teachings available to all.
