Joseph Bobrow is a Zen master, psychologist, community organizer and the founder and teacher of Deep Streams Institute. His book, Zen and Psychotherapy: Partners in Liberation, explores their interplay in transforming suffering and trauma and helping us realize and embody our true nature. Deep Streams serves the community through its Coming Home Project for Iraq and Afghanistan veterans and their families and care providers. In the early 1980's he lived and studied with Thich Nhat Hanh in Plum Village, where he co-translated his Guide to Walking Meditation. Joseph teaches widely throughout the United States. Joseph teaches throughout the United States and abroad.
