On behalf of the board of directors of the Insight Meditation Community of Washington, I am beyond happy to announce our new leadership team: Trisha Stotler, Executive Director of Programs, and Anne Adams Green, Executive Director of Administration. Together, these two positions provide the leadership, strategic vision, and day-to-day management to ensure IMCW remains a vibrant and dharma organization far into the future.

Trisha brings a unique combination of skills to this role, as she is both one of IMCW’s senior teachers and a past board president. Importantly, she has a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management and understands the issues and culture specific to dharma communities.

Anne has been serving as IMCW’s administrator for the past 11 years. . In this time she’s gone from being IMCW’s only full time paid employee — meaning she did almost everything! — to supervising a small team of dedicated staff working behind the scenes on our website, newsletters, and class and retreat management.

In the last 15 years of being a retreat manager and teacher for IMCW, I have worked very closely with both Trisha and Anne, and we could not have selected two more qualified individuals to lead us into this new era. And I’m blessed to call them dear friends. I respect and honor their exemplary leadership, undying commitment to the sangha and IMCW as an organization, steadfast integrity, and deep wisdom and compassion.

I have every confidence that Trisha and Anne will continue to support IMCW in providing high-quality offerings that support the awakening and liberation of all beings who join our sanghas.
