Since July 2019, IMCW’s Family Program has been building bridges and connections with a number of non-profits in Washington, DC that work in underserved communities. We are honored for the opportunity to partner with Lamont Geddis of the National Center for Children & Families (NCCF), the Kennedy Street Freedom School, and J.C. Nalle Community School to bring the practices of mindfulness and compassion to both homeless families and residents in Wards 7 and 8.
