Our hearts break as we witness on the world stage the ripening of greed, hatred, and delusion. Our prayers of metta and for peace go out to the people in Ukraine and all of the surrounding countries that are impacted by this ongoing atrocity. We’re also mindful of the strong conditioning in the media to highlight tragic events in the Northern hemisphere, while largely ignoring the suffering of our human family in the South. To all beings who suffer as a result of state-sponsored terrorism, who live with imminent fear and uncertainty, and who grieve the tragic loss of loved ones, we stand with you. In addition to prayers for peace, may we all plant and tend to seeds of love in our own hearts, minds, families, and communities.
